In line with our policy of continual development and providing our users the best practice management software available, we are pleased to announce the release of Eminance version 02.02.12. This free update to existing users offers a number of additional features which you may find useful in your practice.
We are continually looking for ways that we can improve your practice management and smooth the administration of your practice. Eminance has many new facilities designed to do exactly that, which has resulted in a new release. If you find that any of the features will benefit your practice, you can update your system with the new program at no charge. Some of the new features include;
- A multi-tasking ability that allows you to access the diary at any point while using the wizard. For example, you can make changes to the diary while invoicing – all you do is press the f11 function key.
- Clinical notes can be e-mailed on demand directly to referring doctors from the mail merged information. This allows you to send the results of a standard template report, customized automatically for both patients and doctors.
- Reporting is made easier, from small changes such as the creditors control report showing the VAT, through to quicker access to printers and reporting.
- New FICA requirements have been taken into account, and just in case your bank account name is different to your practice name, you can specify the account name you want your patients to make cheques out to automatically in the remittance.
- Changes also apply to the optometry version where you can generate a lab order directly from a quote, and then later convert the quote to an invoice. This allows the whole transaction to be billed at point of collection, as opposed to order.
- Optometry users can also generate lab orders for codes that are not marked as lenses. This will typically be used when a solder code is posted and no lenses are sold, but work still needs to be done by the lab.
