Linking to Pathology
Now you can link Ampath pathology reports directly into your patient record system with Eminance. In addition, it automatically links the corresponding reports. It does this by matching the patients ID number on the Ampath reporting system with your patient records to ensure a complete match. Technically, it interfaces the Ampath Access database with your practice management system.
It's quick and easy to set-up and allows access to the data without compromising the security of the information. Updating your system with the pathology reports is secure and automated and matches the report information to your patients. The match is based on the ID Number. All reports linked to a patient but not yet seen would be reflected. Thus ensuring you do not miss a result that has been returned without attending to it. The system allows for additional options such as follow-up information to ensure your patient is dealt with professionally and efficiently.
You can view the pathology report at any time, depending on your security level, by simply selecting the patient clinical notes.
